Operational History: : Although new to the fleet, Rear Admiral Paje was confident in his ship. The smallest capital ship in the fleet, The Raging Wookie was looked down upon by some. Admiral Paje watched over his home planet, careful not to be picked up on the scanners. They didn't know he was there, no one did except Grand Admiral Hayden and his advisors, Paje, and his skeleton crew.
The Raging Wookie cruised easily through space with no particular destination. Because his ship was so new, Paje had no real mission.
The Admiral drilled his fighter pilots but moral on the ship was low, having no real opposition. Paje worried that if attacked, his pilots would be ill prepared.
He stood on the bridge looking unto the lush green planet in the distance. Slowly, he turned to the bridge officer.
"Ensign Wright." he barked.
"Yes, sir?"
"Order the fighters to attack Naboo."
"Sir?" the word came out a question.
"It will gives our fighter some real competition." The Admiral tossed a wry glance in the ensign's direction.
"Yes, sir."
An alarm sounded through the bridge of the frigate, scrambling officers to their stations. Fighters swarmed toward the planet. "Tactical display, Admiral?"
"No. Let's see how they play the game themselves."
The TIE's seemed to be making an unhampered run at the planet. Finally, out of the atmoshpere, flew a squadron of Naboo star fighters.
The TIE had the advantage of skill, being that the Naboo only had volunteer forces. But, the Naboo fought hard. Losses were minimal on Naboo's side and none of the TIEs had been damaged enough to get Paje in trouble.
Paje watched the battle joyfully unfold. He heard steps behind him now.
"Rear Admiral?" Ensign Wright said.
"Yes?"
"The Cult High Command orders you to rendevous with them."
"Thank you, Lieutenant."
"Sir?"
"You did a wonderful job on the trip, Lieutenant."
"Thank you, sir."
"Recall on fighters and set coordinances."
"What shall we do if the Naboo follow?"
"They won't."
"Prepare the jump."
"Yes, sir."
