PIETT'S THEME
For the Star Wars Trilogy, composer John Williams gave practically every character their own 'theme music' - Luke, Leia, Vader, even the Death Star and Boba Fett (though his is only two notes long), and it would seem that Admiral Piett is no exception. Though not specifically noted as his theme, this music has been adopted as Admiral Piett's theme, since a version of it plays pretty much anytime Piett is around. Most will recognise it as a slight variation of the Imperial March - the music actually comes from the track entitled 'Aboard The Executor' on disc one of the Empire Strikes Back Special Edition soundtrack. The piece was originally intended to be used when we first see the Admiral's ship, but in the final film, it was replaced with the standard Imperial March. It is presented here in in the MPEG-1, Layer 3 (mp3) format.
