(Captain) Admiral Piett's Lines from
by Donald F. Glut
based on the story by George Lucas
As Captain:
- I think we've found something, Admiral.
- The report we have is only a fragment, from a probe droid in the Hoth system. But it's the best lead we've had in-
- Yes, sir. We have visuals. The system is supposed to be devoid of human forms...
- Yes, my lord.
As Admiral:
- Seventeen ships destroyed. We don't know how many got away.
- Our tracking scanners are on it now.
- My lord.
- Our pursuit ships have sighted the Millenium Falcon, my lord. It has entered an asteroid field.
- Soon, Lord Vader.
- It was...the Emperor.
- Yes. He commands you make contact with him.
- Yes, my lord.
- Bounty hunters! Why should he bring them into this? The Rebels won't escape us.
- My lord, we have them!
- Lord Vader, our ships have completed their scan of the area and found nothing. The Millenium Falcon definitely went to lightspeed. It's probably somewhere on the other side of the galaxy by now.
- Yes, my lord. We'll find them.
- Deploy the fleet.
- They'll be in range of the tractor beam in moments.
- Right after they were captured, sir.

- Shuttle Tydirium, what is your cargo and destination?
- It's an older code, but it checks out. I was about to clear them.
- Should I hold them?
- As you wish, my Lord.
- Have the fleet hold here.
- I have my orders from the Emperor himself. He has something special planned for this Rebel scum. We are only to keep them from escaping.
