HOW
WEDGE DIED One day, Wedge Antillies (hack hack..) was doing his routine duity as an escort. His mission was fairly simple, guard a frieghter until it can jump to hyperspace. Well just about as the frieghter was going to jump, a TIE Advanced jumped into the area and started to belt the frieghter with all it had. Wedge then started to fire at the TIE, as the frieghter jumped out. But as the frieghter left, more TIEs jumped in, surrounding him. In an instant, all his shields failed and all weapons were off-line. He cursed under his breath as he opened his comm frequency. "Wedge Antillies of the New Republic here, do you TIE's read me?" "This is Black Leader, we read you Wedge" "I surrender" Wedge said, very panicked. "I had anticipated that, Wedge" a voice crackled over the comm, just as a SSD came in. "I am Emporer Piett, in charge of the empire now, you might recall that you killed me in Endor. Yes, I feel it. Well, I escaped in an escape pod and went to my secret base. I have hated you ever since I saw your pethetic X-wing Red2. HA!" Just then Wedge's Weapons came back on-line. He remembered that the only chance of him getting back home was to nail the weak spot on the SSD- the hyperdrive engines. Wedge flew around to the back of the SSD and accquired a lock on one of the hyperdrive engines. "Bye Piett, I guess you won't be able to kill me now." And at that moment, he fired everything he had at the engine. He saw a humoungous flash of light and fire. "I guess I say bye now Wedge" Piett laughed over the comm. "Yep" Wedge said. Just about as he was going to go into hyperspace, he heard a clank. But he thought it was nothing, so he pulled the lever, and he jumped. In the SSD, Piett was laughing very loud. Everything had been planed. Piett Was very happy to get rid of Wedge. In Wedge's X-wing, when he was going to exit hyperspace, he felt good. He had outrun a SSD. He was now pulling the lever to exit hyperspace, but nothing worked. He was stuck in hyperspace forever.
