THE PIETT CHRONICLES
Episode 1- A New Threat

Captain Dorja stepped through the empty halways of the Super-Star Destroyer Executor II. Not since Dorja had served under Grand Admiral Thrawn had he seen so many Star Destroyers. The sleek Ivory hulls of 16 new Imperial-Class Star Destroyers floated silently over the ringed, desert planet of Fornax. Below the Destroyers was a dockyard where 4 more Star Destroyers were under construction.

The new Star Destroyers were joined by several old ships that had served under other rouge Imperial Warlords. That was the case of Dorja and the Relentless, who had been part of Thrawn's fleet. Thrawn had been the single greatest threat against the New Republic, until now. Dorja stopped as the mechnical door hissed, screached and opened reveling the bridge, and the command chair.

"Enter", a voice from the chair commanded. Dorja walked onto the bridge and stopped just behind the chair.

"Sir", Dorja began,"the Relentless is nearing decay and I would..."

" Ah, Captain Dorja," the chair spun around and revealed Admiral Angus Piett, the legendary Imperial Navy officer thought dead at Endor," I thought that you would be stopping in, please, continue." Piett folded his hand and listened to Dorja.

"The Relentless is in a state of decay, I need to use the repair services at once."

"Of couse," he signaled his aide, who promptly exited the room."But please stay."

The Admiral explained to Dorja the situation. He had devised a plan to divide his forces into 3 groups and strike the New Republic in 3 different places and then strike Coruscant. He wanted Dorja to lead the attack on Coruscant.

After the meeting Piett assinged two Star Destroyers to each target.

"Master and Punisher, you have Jomark," The holos of the two captains dissapered and he turend to the next two,"Indomitable and Emperor's Will, you've got Nam'ta, Bastion and Palisade, you strike Vordram." Piett turned off all holos and sat back in the chair. Jomark was first...

The Master and the Punisher came out of hyperspace directly over the ocena covered planet of Jomark. Algae proccessing plants and mineral mining stations essential to the New Republic war effort were on the planet. The Punisher attacked first. It glided over the planet and began bombarding any sign of technology. Just as the 3rd Algae palnt was blown to atoms 2 Corellian Gunships came around from behind the planet.

The Master was to far away from the Punisher to help. All Ion cannons weere diverted to deal with the gunships and the bombardment continued. Concussion Missiles rained on Punisher, but the Star Destroyer continued to bombard the palnet until only one facilty remained. But the Punisher was begining to break apart. The explosion ripped through the hull destroying all three ships. The Master took out the last station and reported in.

"Master to HQ, mission accomplished." Just as that messsage was sent, a large New Republic fleet left Coruscant for Jomark in hopes of catching the Master...
