EARLY ENCOUNTER

Prologue
Piett was assigned to a small squadron on the Outer Rim as a commander. While serving there, Piett built an extremely impressive record of arrests and suppressions. One day, news from the Fleet Headquarters ordered Piett to destroy a small Rebels shipyard just in the next system where he was.

Part 1
Piett now stood on the bridge of his Victory-class destroyer, Ruthless,about to leave hyperspace. In formation with him were 3 Imperial-class destroyers. He smiled to himself and glad that the Fleet Headquarters send the 3 Imperial-class destroyers to him as he requested.

" We are dropping to sublight,Commander Piett."

He turned and saw a junior officer standing there.

" Have Lieutanent-Commander meet me here in ten standard minutes."

Part 2
" Commander.", the sensor controller called.

" What is it,ensign Rekan?"he asked.

Rekan pointed to a screen and Commander Wallance stared in terror.

" Oh no! The Imperial troops had found us." Wallance said.

" Prepare for the retreat for we have not get enough forces to battle against 1 Victory-class and 3 Imperial-class destroyers!"

" Yes, Commander Wallance."

Part 3
" Lieutanent Commander Okisans, commence firing as soon as we reach optimum distance. I want absolutely no mistakes."

" Yes, Commander Piett."

Piett stood in front of the bridge. Suddenly, two transport ships flew out from the shipyards. One of the ships quickly vaporized by the Imperial-class Destroyer. A group of 40 X-wings flied out just before the ship vaporized into nothing. Piett thought that the remaining transport ship will soon be destroyed.

He asked the TIE operation officer to send out a squadron of TIE fighters and asked if there was any TIE fighters for him and there is one extra.

" Sir, do you think that is-----?"

" -----wise?" Piett finished for him." It has been too long since I flew in combat. I need to flex those muscles."

" Lieutanent Commander Okisans, you are in command now. Attack the remaining Rebels transport ship."

" Yes, sir!"

Epilogue
Piett fired many X-wings down and the Rebels shipyard was destroyed.
