Operational History: Launched 5 years before ANH, under command of Davin Ozzel, brother of the incompetant Admiral that Vader killed. Defended the Corellian shipyards from Rebel attack, along with it's sister ship, the Thermopylae, which was lost in action with all hands.
Assigned to Coruscant Sector during Battle of Yavin. Ozzel dies of heart attack, Elrud Hodgekins assumes command.
Patrolled Anoat System following Battle of Hoth.
Assigned to Endor Garrison.
Battle of Endor losses: 72 TIE fighters, 3/4 of available stormtroopers and support craft, Capt. Hodgekins. Commander Peter W. Owens assumes command under relentless Rebel assault and orders a retreat, destroying two unarmed Nebulon-B frigates before entering hyperspace.
Post Endor: Retreated to Ghorman, to refit and recruit. Owens given full command of ISD Tarkin's Revenge. Owens promoted for saving the technology and manpower of the Empire to use it on another day. Offered the Revenge into service with Admiral Piett's fleet, once it was determined that Piett had, indeed, returned. Promoted to Admiral.
